after helping save robin from ennies lobby you were asked by luffy to join the straw hat pirates as a swordsman obviously you accepted. you took liking to the lively crew, having a celebration to welcome 2 new crew members, you noticed how your new captain, monkey .d luffy, would always try to stick to your side even dragging you away to sit on the head of the thousand sunny.

it was late afternoon the sun almost setting as you were chatting with zoro while shaprening your blade being careful not to grind too much down, looking up as robin walked up behind zoro leaning against the wall "i couldnt help but notice how attached luffy is to you [m/n]"teasing tone dripping from her words. slightly confused you raise an eyebrow looking at her "isnt he like this with everyone?" zoro uninterestingly adds on "mhm not really" as he continues striking his sword at the air. "speak of the devil" was the last thing you heard from robin before you got tackled to the ground face slamming into the wooden floor "[m/n] COME ON LETS GO STEAL FOOD FROM SANJI" voice a little strained from his arms wrapped around your neck trying to stay close, you croak out "n-not now training with zor-o LUFFY I CANT BREATH" luffy frowns a bit before getting off of you pouting and going to the head of the sunny sighing to get your attention

its been a few days of this as the crew starts getting worried about luffy

as you ignore him he sighs again but louder each time making you look at him before zoro nods his head at luffy silently telling you to go to him, its your turn to now sigh putting your sword back into its spot on your hip slowly walking to luffy leaning your back on the rail looking at his side profile.

not seeing how robin quietly tells everyone to move inside to give you just some space

luffy's eyebrows are scrunched up, bottom lip puffed out and holding his knees against his chest making a big effort not to look at you. you move closer to him tilting his hat backwards so it rests on his back "wanna tell me why youre acting like a big baby luffy?" you say with a small smile. luffy catches a glimpse of your smile trying not to smile back as he fidgets with the string around his neck attached to his hat "you keep hanging out with zoro and not me" he frowns more, his rubber face making him look even more sad as his mouth drooped. "we weren't hanging out luffy we were training its been a while since i could train with another swordsman...but if i didnt know any better i'd say youre just jealous...are you jealous luffy" climbing next to him on the ships head you face him smirking, eyes locked as luffy shakes his head proudly "nuh uhh im not jealous i just want you to be close to me more and i get this icky feeling when youre with someone else and youre laughing with them cause im supposed to make you laugh so hah im not jealous" he puffs his chest out crossing his arms to prove his point "luffy thats what jealously is...." tucking a strand of hair behind his ear "oh yeah...then yes im jealous" nodding your head smiling at him "then i'll make sure to spend more time with you. how does that sound?" luffys smile beams back onto his face as he stands up excitedly nodding his head not really understanding the concept of his crush on you but he knows you make him feel happy so he wants to be with you. interrupting your moment sanji's voice booms from the kitchen "DINNERS DONE NAMMIIII AND ROBBINN" followed by a loud bang and nami yelling "WE TOLD YOU TO KEEP QUIET DUMBASS YOU RUINED THE MOMENT" "sowwy nami" sanji lays on the floor with a swollen lip watching as luffy runs inside for the food his hand wrapped around yours

something most of the crew noticed is how he almost never stole your food from that night forward

Im going to give a half assed answer because im half sleep rn while working

So first off I genuinely believe how he acted towards Viola is like the closest we ever got to how he’d probably act if he were in a relationship.

And i also I think Sanji would not fully acknowledge his stronger feeling to said person until he catches his change of demeanor. Because i think he knows in the back of his mind that he does has a DEEP LOVE for women, but he isnt IN love with any of them yk? He may have thought he was with a couple women (hell i can even add Nami possibly) but those feelings subsided when he found a new woman in his path.

I believe a fine example on how he’d probably truly fall in love w a woman would be having a deep late night conversation. Mind u him and said person would have been probably friends for a cool minute, they know each other by this point. And in this conversation there is No lustful gazes, no blood, just like raw one on one time. She’s maintaining eye contact, she is patient with him as he speaks, etcetc

I do also think it would be a new feeling for him and that girl would intimidate him in a way he is more cautious with his actions around her. And im not going to say Sanji will stop bleeding and go on to have his fits with other women no but i do think when he is around the girl it’s like a switch hits.

Basically the mf turns into Mr. Prince and its hot🧍🏾‍♀️

I also believe he would ask her out eventually but it would take some mental preparation and reassurance somehow that she feels the same feelings because he has been rejected by many women but this one he just couldnt bare.

Now as for Booty Hunter Zoro..

Doesnt matter how much he thinks about u, is subconsciously near u, how he always have a strong urge to pull you to the side just to be alone with you. He will give every excuse in the book before he admits he is in love.

He finds no use for it, he would use excuses like “Love would slow me down” or some bs like that. But then after a few years he begins to get frustrated because now he may be wrong. He may just be wrong about not being in love

The warm feeling he has when he is in ur presence

The way how he remembers the small things about you

The way how even when he gets lost he will always happen to FIND YOU

He even picks up some of ur mannerisms and HE HATES IT SM. He may even act colder towards u for it. He doesnt mean it he is just confused on these new emotions he has never experienced and the poor idiot dont know how to express his feelings all that well so if you ask about why he has been avoiding u he will get defensive.

It doesnt diminish his feelings for u tho u just have to take ur time with him, approach him, talk to him. And if u happen to put two and two together and call him out of his BS he maybe JUST MAYBEEEE be willing to open himself up to a chance of being in love

hi omg if u are wondering who the heck's been binge reading ur fics for hours today its me !! 🤚 i just couldnt help myself and kept going so i didnt really get the chance to comment on anything which im really upset abt at myself for, so im gonna go ahead and dump everything here so you know how much i love your writing— first and foremost i LOVE your characterization of zosan, it is by far the most accurate and flawless depictions of them that i've come across and it feels so satisfying to read. secondly, you've awakened a new part of me that appreciates soft zosan and my love for them has increased tenfold! genuinely tho, i'm a big lover for all things angst and hurt/comfort and while i dont hate fluff i dont really go seeking out /pure/ fluff and im very neutral about it but Your Fics. my god *inserts spongebob sobbing deeply meme* i never knew i needed this in my life before now (also i NEED to mention this specifically: from your fic glimpses; where sanji is blushing and zoro thinks he's cute. i fucking screamed) AND LASTLY?!?!?!? YOUR STYLE OF WRITING IS JUST??? EVERYTHING?? im a writer myself tho i havent really published anything on ao3 yet (insecurities haha) but writers like you just give me so much inspiration 😭 your writing is just so beautiful and perfect and i experience so many emotions reading your fics and i can never get enough. it makes me wanna put more work into my own writing (in a good way) so thank you for that, and thank you for contributing so much for the zosan fandom, im fairly new to it and your fics have played a big Big part in solidifying my love for them. i might just be staying with this ship for the long run
